Zetor Proxima 2008

The new Proxima range embodies more than 60 years of Zetor “know-how” of tractor design & manufacture. Powerful, reliable & simple to operate, Proxima is built to deliver maximum performance even under the toughest conditions.

Engine
Proxima is powered by the latest generation of Zetor turbo-diesel engines. These are fully compliant with Tier III emission standards and are designed for low cost operation with long-term reliability. The one-piece bonnet is easily tilted upwards to provide unrestricted access to all parts of the engine for daily maintenance and servicing.

Transmission
A fully synchronised 10 + 2 gear box is standard on 40K models. The ergonomic design & layout of the controls ensures that the shift lever is well positioned and easy to operate. Optional:

Shuttle gear-box 12 + 12 Creeper speed 20+ 4

All models have a 310mm cera-metallic clutch plate for extended operating life and reliability. Four wheel braking is standard on all 40K models. Multi-plate oil-immersed disc packs on each wheel ensure safe, positive braking. Proxima has up to 4 tonnes lift capacity, making it a versatile all-rounder. 540/1000rpm PTO is standard with unique ground speed PTO system enabling the rotation of the PTO to be reversed even when the tractor is stationary.

Front Axle
The Proxima is fitted with an uprated Carraro 20.16 4WD front axle. This heavy duty axle offers an increase of 20% in load capacity, has a turning radius of just 508 and excellent ground clearance – making Proxima ideal for intensive loader work.

Cab
Proxima has a very spacious, comfortable cab with superb all-round visibility. Controls are simple to operate and fall easily to hand from the latest Grammer seat. New features include:

Integrated cover for hydraulic controls with tidy-box, plug connector and lighter point. CD player & full size passenger seat Rubber floor mat with sandwich construction for easy cleaning and increased sound and heat insulation. Galvanised, easy-clean steps.

External
Uprated lights have crystal lenses for greater intensity. Heavy duty battery positioned under the cab steps. Pick-up Hitch Increased ballast with new frame and front weights (option) Front three-point linkage & PTO (Zuidberg) is available as an option with 2.3 tonnes capacity.
